My dad got really into New Age in the 90's too. I definitely had reiki performed on me a few times, some crystal healing, aura-capturing polaroids (wtf), and had my palm read. Hah I was told I was a princess in Egypt because I have an Ankh-like symbol on one hand. Then he started to go a little insane with the whole thing and it progressed into some supernatural beings possessing bodies thing, any ailment he had he would try to remove whatever spirit was occupying that particular place on the body himself. Yeah, cool.
